Your Guaranteed Online Success Is No Longer A Dream...
Why? Because my answer is so straight forward...
The answer is "Of course it is...in fact it's possible to make money offline, in the desert, in outerspace and on Mars"
Sounds kinda weird I know, but let me explain. Most of us already know that making money online is not a myth, but yet we still have those doubts due to poor results or whatever the current excuse might be.
The TRUTH is, that making money online is no different to how people made money 100 years ago. The simple fact is that in order to be a successful internet marketer, we all need a few things in place, a few basic principles if you like...
1. A plan
It's not a good idea to spend all your time, money and effort in something that will "fall off the bandwagon" in 6 months time. In order to settle with a nice consistent paycheck each month, we need a plan of action. This could be something like...
step 1. find a desperate market that uses the internet a lot
step 2. find a product that they will want
step 3. sell that product to them
step 4. send "x" amount of emails that do nothing but help them with their problems and provide extra support for the product they have already bought through your affiliate link
step 5. survey your customers and ask them what else they would like to know (in exchange for a free copy of your upcoming product)
step 6. pay someone to create that product and put it up online
step 7. tell your existing customers that the product is available
step 8. offer an upsell
step 9. repeat steps 4 - 8 for 12 months whilst bringing in new prospects through article marketing and other common methods
That's a basic plan, but it's better to have it there in front of you so that you know what you should be working on each day.
But even then, we all know that even with a basic overall plan like that, that money is still not guaranteed. That comes down to one thing only...research.
If I knew that a market was desperate for a certain solution to a certain problem, and I knew where they hung out...don't you think that I would (as a marketing entrepreneur) do everything in my power (including paying people) to create that solution and go and present it to them?
Of course I would. It beats the heck out of guessing your way through and "hoping" that people will buy. End of the day, don't reinvent the wheel, just make it go faster...just like all those sports car companies do all the time (and make millions every month doing so)
The next problem we face is the FAILURE ITESELF to deliver products or services that people will want...even if we know what to deliver to our market. Let me explain...
Even if we KNOW what our market wants, it can still be a little daunting to create a product that meets their needs.
You can of course outsource your product creation. But in order to oursource anything, you better be damn sure that people will want it.
Moral of that...Do your research first before paying someone to create a product for you ! More prominently, did you realize that the very screen you're looking at right now has the ability to display information that can make you a millionaire?
I am talking about your ability to tap into the world's largest source of information...the internet.
You see, we are all guilty of spending waaay too much time in forums and end up asking questions we could have googled in 1 min flat and got ourselves an answer...
..yet we continue to be slaves to comfort and reassurance. The reassurance of a community (which is great, but you need to be working flat out to really kick your business into overdrive, so floating around forums in the day is NOT a good idea)
What I am leading to here is what we, as internet marketers should be embracing and exploiting everyday...
INFORMATION
It's the stuff that can make you a $1500 WSO, a lifetime niche business, an expert at seminars...you name it, INFORMATION is the lifeblood to wealth...whether you're selling it or just plain using it to sell more of a product.
Information is the gold. But why am I stating such an obvious point? Well, here's a real life example of why...
I just did a few searches on google, then ended up drilling down to some linked websites. I was lokking for a particular piece of information.
I was patient, calm and attentive. I wanted that info and I was damn sure that SOMEONE had published it online (everything about anything is available online folks).
So,
I found the information I was looking for, plus to my suprise I found some golden info that I could use for a new eBook/video/report/WSO...whatever..
This info is set to make me a few extra thousand per year, just from a simple search (that should be encouraging to all of those failing SEO people who can't make it to the front page of Google...I found my gold on Youtube and the 3rd page of Google...)
The ultimate point is, are you trying to push dead donkeys or are you learning things that can seperate you from the competition? The more stuff you know, the better off you will be. Even if it's something obscure, you can still hand it to other people for profit.
When it comes to internet marketing, don't just think of yourself as some wannabe expert or whatever...
..instead, think of yourself as an "information broker".
Just like you ignorantly pass hundreds of houses a day when looking for a new home, people plough through hundreds of websites and links each day, looking for the whole piece to their solution.
Why not be their "researcher", and gather all that info together (spending a few hours doing so) and then package it as if they MUST buy it and NEED the solution because it WILL MAKE THEIR LIVES BETTER and will SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS and SAVE THEM TIME. I hope you've been paying attention...I won't say it again ;-)
One final point...
How many times have you been told to do something like "put up a squidoo lens, write an article, test your copy etc?" Yet, out of all those things you have been told, how many have you HONESTLY implemented?
Well, I'm sure many of you will say "none", or "a few". Which leads me on to the entire point of this post...
If your excuse to why you haven't done all those things is because of your lack of time, then you're not running a business... You see, all you are doing is filling your spare time with labour that ultimately leads to labour related income...
You see, a real business will sacrifice profits for investment in outsourcing. Areal business PERSON will understand that this internet marketing stuff requires AT LEAST 8 hours per day to see any near future results.
If you continue to work at this part time, you will ultimately see
part time results.
The reality is that this business, for the early part (just like any other type of business) requires extra hours and significant learning curves. You either cut your losses and go full bore into this stuff, or you accept second rate income for working part time hours.
Once you take the leap and truly commit, your income will reflect that. At which stage, you CAN invest in outworkers to develop new sites, new copy and test results for you etc.
Until then, treat it like any kind of start up business. Just because you're working at home in your homer simpson boxer shorts DOES NOT mean that you are a success.
Bite the grit and for god's sake, get some work done.

Understanding Google AdSense
Website maintenance related to AdSense is very easy and requires very little effort. Webmasters need only to insert a Google generated java script into the web page or website template. Google's spider parses the AdServing website and serves ads that relate to the website's content. Google uses a combination of keyword matching and context analysis to determine what ads should be served. The java script calls the ad from Google and will ensure that ads are served each time a visitor goes to the web page.
Early on Google implemented a filtering system that allowed webmasters to prevent a specific domain's ads from being served on any websites in their account. Ad blocking meant that webmasters could prevent their competitor's ads from being dynamically served on their websites.
Google provides a wide variety of ad formats to match the most suitable option with a website. Webmasters can select from a handful of preformatted towers, inline rectangles, banners and buttons. The ad boxes can be modified by webmasters to resemble the website's color scheme. Examples of how different the various text boxes and color schemes appear on similarly themed sites can be viewed at:
http://www.ring-tone-software.com (scroll to the bottom)
http://www.ringtones-central.com (scroll to the bottom)
or
http://www.police-central.com (download left side)
http://www.police-supplies.com (scroll to the bottom)
Ads can be geo-targeted based on the visitor's location. Advertisements containing content in English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese, or Spanish are all available.
Channels
Google recently introduced channels, enhancing AdSense reporting. When a channel is selected Google modifies the java script to include additional tracking. The additional tracking information allows webmasters to track a variety of metrics across their sites. Channels can be used to measure performance on various domains, differences in revenue with various ad sizes, or placement. By assigning each group of pages to a specific channel and comparing results in custom channel reports webmasters can work at increasing their AdSense revenue.
Optimizing
Google determines the content of the ads that are shown, webmasters serious about earning revenue from Google AdSense can use the following guidelines to optimize their website and ensure that targeted and relevant ads are served. If Google's spider has not crawled the site and determined the nature of the content, public service ads may be served. Public service ads will not accrue any AdSense revenue if clicked. As a result Google allows webmasters to designate alternate ads. Alternate ads allow webmasters to utilize the ad space in the event that Google is unable to serve targeted ads to the web page. By specifying an alternate image, HTML page, or ad server the advertising space can always being used effectively.
1.) Web page content on pages that ads are served should be static not dynamic.
2.) Ensure that the robot.txt does not prevent the web page from being spidered. Robots.txt file's will need to be removed or the following text will need to bedded to allow Google's content bot to crawl the site: User-agent: Media partners - Google
3.) If the website contains frames, select the ‘framed page’ checkbox when generating the ad layout code for that website.
4.) The body of the page and title of the page should contain contextual words that indicate a common theme on the web page.
Revenue Earned
Although Google doesn't disclose the exact revenue share or percentage that webmasters will earn, webmasters will receive a portion of the amount paid for clicks on Google ads on websites.
AdSense Conclusion:
Overall, Google AdWords can provide great supplemental income to webmasters with content sites. Implementing and maintaining Google AdSense program on a content site requires very little effort and can often bring a steady stream of additional revenue for webmasters.

one of the most successful affiliate marketing programs known as
Google Adsense. You can join their programming and actually get paid

How to Energize Your Affiliate Marketing with Mind Power
So what is Affiliate marketing Mind Power?
Quite simply this is where you apply your own Personal Unique Internal Resources to make money selling other peoples products. In this case, you develop a close relationship with what you're promoting and this helps to build Trust with visitors to your site. Think about it for a moment, when you promote a product that you have tried and tested, knowing it works well, then your promotion will most definitely have a personal edge to it, and this comes across to your prospects. You see, when you apply your own internal resources to anything, which gives it an angle or a different perspective, then you're putting it above the rest, because this is YOU applying your Mind Power and uniqueness to Energize a product.
So, before you decide on affiliate marketing for a particular product, here are some simple Energizer methods you can use to create your success blueprint. This helps to build and focus your Mind into a success driven route from the very start.
Understand that you'll be recommending this to people who may not have heard of the product before, so try it, ask questions, do you feel this is something you'd recommend to a close friend, are you happy with it, the topic, the type of product etc. Check with yourself that you really are 100%, then decide on your tasks to get you going. Go into this with a positive Mind Frame for success, and consider the following key areas
Here are your steps to maintaining Success Mind Focus
Accept giving Value as a priority
When you fully understand and have tried and tested the product you promote, then you are actually giving value to your prospects because what you're doing is recommending something you know that works to help them solve a problem or sort issues in their lives. So your first priority is to help people solve problems by giving value. Keep your mind on this and the value you put out will eventually come back to you many folds. People appreciate Value, we all do, and this focus builds your success over time.
Make it interesting to you
OK, try to choose an area of Affiliate marketing that interests you because that's Passion Earning. For example, if you love fishing, it's important that you start with fishing products because the interest you have in the subject will actually come through as you promote the product. Again, another Mind Power Energizer.
Mind Focus to discipline yourself
Discipline is very important, and you need to keep very focussed with your action plans. Carefully write down your tasks and keep to it as much as possible. Keep track on how you're progressing and when something happens to take you off track, simply get back to your target. Try and keep your Mind from wandering into other areas until you finish the task at hand. Be careful not to take on too much.
Be realistic with YOU.
Being realistic with yourself is important. Your intuitive mind will give you the hint. So take account of your current commitments and choose timescales that you're comfortable with and which you feel you can keep to.
Persistence
Tell yourself to be persistent as you go along and do take into account the big word Patience, because as the saying goes, "Rome was not built in a day". At the same time, note that issues cropping up along the way are Challenges for growth and experience. Joy Obihara

Keeping Things On The Level. Without This Tool All Your Hard Work May Collapse.
Without the common level as we know it we would be seriously challenged to build above one-story without fear of the whole structure coming down on our heads. In this article I intend to cover some of the types of levels in use today as well their care and storage.
Types of Levels
Wood, aluminum, or magnesium is the materials commonly used to make most levels. During the 1800's these tools were often made using iron as the frame. The better wood-framed devices were made using beech and oak, with teak being used for the highest-quality levels.
Shortest of all is the line level, which is used suspended from a string that has been pulled taut. This is done for long-span leveling, as in road grading or foundation work on homes or buildings.
Longest of all is the mason's level, typically four feet long (although some models today range up to eight feet in length ) and used to cover broad spans in concrete work to show which cement blocks need adjusting,
The carpenter's level is about two feet long and is equipped with both plumb vials for checking vertical surfaces and level vials for checking horizontal surfaces.
The torpedo level is popular and handy in that it fits where its longer cousins won't. It is also equipped with both plumb and level vials.
Taking Care of A Level.
Although having no moving parts a level is still susceptible to damage caused by rough handling or neglect. Considering the price of a quality level it is in ones best interest to take care of it. A simple wipe down and keeping it stored in a carrying case is more than enough to keep most levels on the job for decades.
Few jobs could be completed without this humble, but necessary implement. Whatever the job there is a level available to aid in the completion of it. Choose the right one, take care it and it will take care of you for years to come.

Google AdSense Progression
How Does Google AdSense Work?
The concept is simple: The publisher or webmaster inserts a java script into a website. Each time the page is accessed, the java script pulls advertisements from Google's AdSense program. The ads are targeted and related to the content contained on the web page serving the ad. If a web surfer clicks on an advertisement served from Google, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying Google for the click.
Google handles all the tracking and payments, ultimately providing an easy way for webmasters to display content-sensitive, targeted ads, without the headache of having to solicit advertisers, collect funds, monitor clicks or track statistics, any of which could easily become a full-time job.
While Google AdSense, like many pay-per-click programs, is plagued by claims of click-fraud, it is clearly an effective revenue source for many reputable web businesses. There seems to be no shortage of advertisers in the AdWords program from which Google pulls the AdSense ads. Webmasters seem less concerned by the lack of information provided by Google and more interested in cashing their monthly checks from Google.
The Evolution of AdSense
While Google's initial system was fairly rudimentary, only providing publishers the option of displaying a handful of advertising formats, the technology behind even the first ads was anything but simplistic. The technology used to employ Google AdSense goes far beyond simple keyword or category matching. A complex algorithm is used to determine the content contained on the web page serving the ad. Once the content is assessed, and appropriate ads that contain related content are served.
Early on, Google implemented a system that allows publishers to filter advertisements from competitors or sites which they deemed inappropriate. Google also allows vendors to specify an alternative advertisement, in the unlikely event that Google is unable to provide related content ads.
The Progression of Google
Google has come a long way in understanding the needs of publishers and webmasters. Google now offers a system that allows full ad customization. Webmasters can choose from twelve text ad formats and can customize Google advertisements to complement their website and fit into existing webpage layout. The options provided allow webmasters to select and create custom color palettes that match an existing website's color scheme, making the ads a much more natural fit.
Many sites have been able to integrate ads into their site design using different ad formats.
Sample sites with integrated ads:
Investing Partners - http://www.investing-partners.com
Podcasting Tools - http://www.podcasting-tools.com .
RSS Network - http://www.rss-network.com
Online Reports
Google recently took a huge step forward, providing publishers the ability to track their earnings based on webmaster-defined channels. Recent improvements to the Google AdSense reporting have resulted in webmasters having the capability to monitor an ad's performance with customizable online reports that can detail page impressions, clicks and click-through rates. Webmasters now have the ability to track specific ad formats, colors and pages within a website. Webmasters can quickly spot and track trends. The new flexible reporting tools allows webmasters to group web pages by URL, domain, ad type or category, providing webmasters insight into what pages, ads and domains are performing the best.
Reporting is real-time, allowing webmasters to quickly assess the effectiveness of any changes. The new reporting makes it significantly easier for webmasters to optimize and increase click-through rates. Optional reporting allows webmasters to monitor traffic, viewing both ad impressions and page impressions.
Advertisers realize the benefits associated with having their ads served on targeted websites, increasing the likelihood that a prospective web surfer will have an interest in their product or service.
Truth Still Not Revealed
Google still does not reveal what percentage of the advertising revenue earned is paid to the webmaster serving the ads, but they have made strides related to disclosure, recently lifting the ban preventing webmasters from disclosing the amount they earn through serving Google ads.

Working an eCommerce Business
eCommerce stands for electronic commerce which is used to describe doing business over the internet; the means of buying and selling goods on the Internet using web pages. That is something most anyone could do if they put there mind into it. Electronics has gained considerable attention with in home business opportunities over the last few years. And, there is no doubt that developments in wireless technology will have a great influence on the way in home business expands in the future. The field of digital electronics is exciting, fast moving, and constantly changing each and every day; even dashboard DVD players seem quaint and may even become obsolete when you consider how fast electronics research and development is moving in our world today.
I decided to start my on line business because I wanted to be at home with my family. It is important to me to be with my children, but my working is a necessity. I knew I had to do something that would allow me to both stay at home and still have the money coming in to raise my children. Thats when I decided to try an online business of my own. I must admit the hours it took to start this business was stressful but in the end it has been well worth the time. Because I have succeeded I know now that if a person will put a little time and effort into this kind of business the rewards will be great. copyright @Jennifer Strohman

Have Google Pay You $100 Each Month for Your Parked Domain Names!
It's easy to do and takes very little time or effort. Basically it involves using your spare domain names to let AdSense generate extra paychecks for you. I'll walk you through it step by step.
The most important part will be getting great content. But don't worry, we have that covered too. After some digging, I went with an inexpensive service called "Why Park?" that automatically builds fully search engine optimized sites in minutes with a few lines of really simple input. They even host the sites for you. Of course I admit I became a little biased toward their service after my first auto generated site got ranked #5 on Google just one week after it went live.
All you need is a free AdSense account. If you still need to get your account just visit http://www.google.com/adsense.
Step1: Get the Best Keywords; Straight from Google!
It's easier than ever to find the best keywords. I use Google's own keyword database to figure out which get the most search volume with the least competition. Give it a try at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal.
Step 2: Hook Google with a Great Title!
Let's do a real project. Let's say we have a domain name to do with custom cakes. If we enter the word "cake" into Google's free keyword tool, we'll get plenty of great ideas for what's hot. "Cake" might be too general to want to compete against but "wedding cake" and "birthday cake" are both great niches.
Take your most important specific and general keyword phrases and put them together, specific first; general second. Let's use "wedding cake" and "cake". Now separate the keywords or phrases by a pipe (that vertical key over the Enter/Return key). We now have "wedding cake | cake". Now go back and grab one or two more relevant keywords like "birthday cake" and "baby shower cake" and combine them like this "wedding cake | cakes for birthdays, baby showers and more".
Now you've covered all your bases and build a fantastic keyword rich title that won't look like keyword spamming. More importantly it's one that people will actually read. You have singular and plural versions of "cake(s)", which will also help a lot.
Step 3: Get Noticed!
Now we will write a META description that will really get you noticed. This is important. Not only can this tip alone get you ahead of most competitors, but it's also what readers see of your site before they decide to visit. You need to write something for people, but that search engines will like. Don't worry. It's a lot easier than it sounds.
Take all of your keywords and line them up in order of importance. Since "wedding cake" gets more searches than any other, let's start there and use the same logic for the rest. Now we have, in order, "wedding cake", "cake", "birthday cake", and "baby shower cake." Be sure to improve your keyword prominence (relevance based on position) by using your best keyword within the first few words of the description, like this: "Wedding cakes made easy! Get great articles, recipes and decorating tips to make cakes for your special occasion. From triple-layer double chocolate birthday cakes to baby shower cup cake buffets; we have tips to make your special occasion delicious."
As you can see, we used all of our keywords without overloading the text and broke it up a little by adding some detail. It works great! Just try to keep the description at or under 250 characters (including spaces).
Step 4: Add Content That Google Loves!
Why Park (http://www.WhyParkWeb.com) does 99.9% of the work for you. All you have to do is enter your keywords into the article finder provided by the "Research Your Keywords" link located beside the keywords box.
Without using any imagination at all, I found 121 articles in a few seconds... "cake has 98 articles, "wedding cake" has 11 while "birthday cake" has 9 articles and "baby shower cake" has 3.
That's 121 articles total. This might not sound like a lot but at an average of about 1,000 words per article that's the size of an average Harry Potter book.
Add "wedding" and get another 788! That's 909 articles in 10 seconds. You get the idea - more general related keywords can take you over the top and give you a huge, content-rich search engine friendly site, in seconds!
Step 5: Triple Your AdSense Earnings
My click-through rate (CTR) tripled when I switched to this format.
Select ad size 336 x 280. If that's too big, try 300 x 250. And try to make your ad border and ad background colors the same as your Website's background color. It helps it blend in and take away some of the "advertisement" feel. It's also usually best to go with the standard blue hyperlink color for the actual links.
But with all that said, don't be afraid to experiment. This might be the cheapest controlled research you ever come across, so enjoy it. I change my ad colors (but not size) every so often to see what works best but the above method has worked best to date.
Now you're ready! You can do this with no problem. Take back control of your domain names and pocket your own profits. Good luck!

Build Trust In A Relationship? Here Are 7 Ways To Build Trust In A Relationship
This may not be totally true. The stability brought about by being predictable would have a better effect on a relationship. The preceding seven tips are sure-fire ways to improve trust level within a relationship.
As previously mentioned, generally knowing what is going to happen at a specific time is good for relationships. People are creatures of habit and feel safe and stable within their comfort zones. We are not talking about being adventurous in trying out new places or food which is fine, but about the stability in our day to day activities and expectations. It is constancy that develops trust in a relationship, in the same manner that we trust that the sun will shine in the morning and set in the evening.
Then, you should say what you mean. Action speaks louder than words and while you say you are happy, your partner will know for sure if you are not through your facial expressions or your action. How can you expect your partner to learn to trust you if he/she always perceive you as not saying the truth? So say what you mean so your partner could start to develop more trust in you.
Thirdly, you should basically believe in your partner's capability. Without this, trust will never be developed. Truth can be imparted kindly and gently to be appreciated. If you of all people who is supposed to know your partner more than anybody think that he/she is not capable of anything, and make it so apparent, how then can you expect your partner to confide in you?
Never hold back information from your partner. This is one of the primary reasons why couples do not develop trust in each other. You should always be transparent, but to be able to do this well means not involving yourself in unscrupulous endeavors. Guilt over secrets can eat you up as too much time and effort go into keeping it. You will end up fabricating one lie to cover it, then another lie to cover the other lie, and so on. Sooner or later all these lies will catch up with you and there goes the trust you have been trying to build.
Our fifth tip is, be honest with your partner about your wants. Guessing wastes time and more often than not produces the wrong result. Be forthcoming about the things that make you tick, though care should be exercised because too much enthusiasm about your needs might cause you to forget your partner's.
The sixth tip is know when to say no. As your partner lists down his/her needs, you should be able to determine if the needs are doable on your part because you cannot say yes to everything which you will not be able to provide later. So say no to the things that you deem unreasonable and you will not be able grant. Additionally, saying yes to your partner's every whim will not earn you respect and might eventually lead to another problem.
Lastly, do not stop growing. A relationship is not so unlike a diamond which is formed under great heat and pressure beneath the Earth's crust. When mined in its raw form, it may seem unappealing at first, but after undergoing much process, polishing and cutting, it becomes a prized gem that is almost indestructible. Your relationship could undergo the same painful adjustments and refinements but once you survive it, will end up becoming a precious and solid relationship.
When you start to build trust in a relationship, expect some rough sailing. As you go through the process, however, both of you will become better individuals more stable and capable of weathering most of the trials that will come your way.

The Unsuccessful Habits of Hard Working People
The truth is, many of us need to work smarter instead of harder, but we don't really know how to get from where we are to where we need to be. I was brought up believing that hard work is the key to success and fulfillment. Work harder than anyone else and you'll get recognition for it. While this is true in many ways, this philosophy can also severely restrict the level of success you achieve.
While working hard truly is a virtue, it also has some basic failings. First of all the hard work principle lends itself to measuring how hard, or long you work instead of what you are getting done. Many hard workers feel they are entitled to rewards as long as they put in long hours or carry heavy loads. It can lead to resentment of people who have figured out how to work shorter hours for larger rewards. Instead of admiring them, you see them as lazy and undeserving. Hard workers are often frustrated by the efforts of people around them that they feel are not making the same contribution, or reaching the same level of productivity as they are. What the "hard working" crowd is missing is that every employee is hired to get a result, not to fill an empty space.
Look at it this way. Pretend for a moment that you were doing the hiring and paying the bill. Would you rather pay a hard working man with an axe for 2 months to clear your land of trees, or pay a lazy dude with a chainsaw who can do it in one month? What I'd really like is a hard working man with a chainsaw, but given the choices I'll take the man who made the smart tool choice over the one who works hard. Why? Bottom line, it gets the job done faster and cheaper, which is what I really want.
The second failing of the hard working philosophy is a tendency to want to jump into action without a well thought out plan. Let’s get moving! The problem with this is that the devil is in the details. I have seen many hastily laid plans leap into instant action and gain immediate progress. I have seen just as many of these plans sitting in the trash bin after huge amounts of time and money have been invested in them because they didn't actually accomplish what the customer really wanted. By the time they figured they weren't going to meet the real requirements they had too much invested in the hastily chosen direction to make the required corrections. A common companion of these discarded plans is the discarded manager who goes along with it. Action is critical, but first you must ensure your actions contribute to a plan that actually ends in the right results.
In both cases of these cases, the work hard philosophy is missing the main opportunity. A smart plan is better than a hard working plan every time. But we are taught to spring to action. Get to work. Get it started. The reality is that working hard without a plan is fruitless. Working hard at things no one cares about is simply not productive.
Making smart choices that contribute to the results that matter to other people is one of the keys to success. Solid up-front goals and objectives planning sessions are critical to your personal success and to the success of everything you endeavor to do. If you're a hard working person, learning to effectively recognize the goals and intelligently plan objectives and strategies to accomplish them is one of the best investments you can make in yourself.
My success management tip for hard workers: learn to plan smart first, and then work hard. This is the unbeatable combination.

Secret Search Engine Optimization Strategies : How to Turn Keywords into Conversions
Forget about getting tons of traffic from the search engines. Get LESS traffic that converts MORE!
The Secret to Turning Keywords into Conversions is to Keep Your Keywords Focused
For example, if your site sells an all-natural remedy for acid stomach problems...
You start to do your keyword research and you discover that the keyword phrase "natural remedies" has 288 daily searches. But it has over 2,000,000 sites competing for it.
While the phrase, "acid reflux natural remedies" has 67 daily searches with just over 11,000 competing sites.
Do you want to spend all your time and effort trying to optimize your website for the first keyword phrase?
You may get more searches, but you'll never know how many of those searchers want to buy your stomach acid remedy. Not to mention the HUGE number of competitors the keyword has!
Or would you go for the second term, which only has 67 people searching for it -- knowing those 67 people are looking for EXACTLY what you offer? And, it has a MUCH lower competition number to boot!
Obviously, the second term is better!
Sure, you might get less traffic -- but the visitors you DO get will be MUCH more likely to buy your product.
Why You Will Make More Money with Less Traffic That Converts More
People search the Internet to find a solution to a problem and not necessarily to buy something. So what problems will they solve by coming to your website?
Think of a keyword as a "problem statement" that someone would type into the search engines.
When you can match your keywords to the exact problems they're trying to solve. You'll attract the BEST visitors to your site so you can focus all your optimization efforts on them!
Here are some more keyword research tips that will help you turn keywords into conversions…
Top Search Engine Optimization Tips for Finding Highly Focused Keywords That Will Bring the Absolute Best Buyers to Your Website:
Check your server logs. See what keyword phrases people are actually using to find your site. If there's something relevant that you've overlooked, build a page focused on that keyword phrase.
Also look for keywords that are causing people to leave right away because they're not finding what they're looking for. Ditch those keywords immediately.
Look for "intention." Say you sell cross-country ski equipment. People can come to your website looking for different things.
For instance:
They're looking to buy a specific product
They're looking for product reviews
They want information on how to get started in cross-country skiing
They want used or discount equipment
They want to know what kind of equipment will be best for them
They want to know what's new and hot in cross-country ski equipment
Same products -- far different intentions!
If you optimize a page (or pages) for each different problem people are trying to solve, you'll give them what they're looking for…
That means they'll stay on your site longer -- and you'll have a better chance of getting them into the sales process.
Check out your competition. What keywords are your competitors optimizing for, and on what pages?
You can spy on them by going to their websites and looking at their code!
In your web browser, just go to View on the main menu and click on Source or Page Source to "look under the hood" of any competitor's site. Then you can see what they're doing right and what you could do better.
Find your best keywords with pay-per-click advertising. This is the fastest way to find out just how well different keywords perform.
Pay-per-click lets you run ads based on two or three different keywords at the same time. This enables you can track which ones convert best. Make sure the ads click through to pages that relate directly to the keywords.
Focus your SEO efforts on the specific keywords that describe EXACTLY what problem each page solves. Don't be tempted by more general keywords with higher traffic numbers. They'll never send you the traffic you want.
Follow these search engine optimization tips and you will turn keywords into conversions.

Educated Consumers
Not too long ago, a colleague asked me why we invest so heavily in consumer education. We have made a conscious decision to spend marketing dollars on consumer education for a very simple reason. Educated consumers are simply better customers.
Lets take a closer look at why educated consumers are better customers.
Less Technical Support.
1.) Educated consumers require less technical support. The reduced technical support results in lower overhead costs. Often educated consumers can further reduce the support burden by assisting or educating other customers or potential customers in forums, newsgroups, user groups or elsewhere in an industry community.
Often users with a strong technical background or understanding will often assist in the forums and provide users technical support. The result: an educated consumer is a happy and helpful customer.
Easier Sales.
2.) Generally speaking educated consumers have a better understanding of the technology, how it can be used and how it will benefit them. A customers understanding that an application will result in saved time, can easily justify the software's expense. Cost becomes less of an issue when long-term value is understood.
Reasonable Expectations.
3.) I hate to say it, but back in 1996 when we started out, consumer ignorance resulted in unrealistic expectations. Consumers purchased expecting that software would do their dishes and vacuum. Regardless of how well the software did what it was designed to do, if a customer expects it to do something else, they will not be a satisfied customer.
Educated consumers have realistic expectations and understanding of what can and cannot be accomplished.
Kinds of Consumer Education
1. Articles.
Educational articles not only propagate the success and understanding of a technology, but well written articles will often establish the writer as an industry expert.
Example http://www.feedforall.com/newsletter.htm (on the bottom)
2. White Papers.
Real world examples of how other users are using software to resolve problems or save time are often great illustrations of technology in action.
Example http://www.notepage.net/whitepapers.htm
3. PPT Demonstrations.
Power point presentations not only assist with user education, but also can be used by User Groups to further evangelize and educate potential users.
All in all, educated consumers result in a happier user with realistic expectations. Ignorance often results in dissatisfaction and unrealistic expectations while education leads to long term happy and helpful customers.

Business Mistakes to Avoid
1. Promising The World
Entrepreneurs will commonly make bold promises that are often impossible to actually deliver. It is important that you stay grounded in reality, and only agree to things that you know you can actually deliver.
2. Lack Of Discipline
Owning a business takes commitment and self-discipline. Since you are "the boss" you probably won't be disciplined for things like not showing up for work on time... but such things will have a negative impact on your business. It is important that entrepreneurs treat their business just like a real business, and not like a personal hobby. Act professional, charge for your services, and be accountable for the product or service provided. Self-discipline is critical to being self-employed.
3. Lack Of Focus
Remain focused on your core business philosophy, and don't attempt to be everything to everyone. Decide what your strengths and business focus are, and use that strength and focus to build the foundation for your core business.
4. Doing It All
While most small business owners are jacks-of-all-trades, it is important to know your limits. Do not try to do it all. In many situations, it is much better to hire someone or outsource a project than attempt to reinvent the wheel or do something yourself that you are simply not qualified to do.
5. Undervaluing Product Or Service
Small businesses often make the mistake of undervaluing their product or service. If an item or service is priced too inexpensively, it may be viewed to be of inferior quality. Conduct a cost analysis, and consider split-testing to find the appropriate price point for your product or service.
6. Hiring Family
It is natural for a small business owner to want to hire family members, but this is often a very costly mistake. If you do hire family members, be sure to make it clear from the beginning that business is business. Employment should not effect your personal relationships -- that is very easy to say, but unfortunately it often does effect your personal and family relationships. Additionally, other employees may resent favoritism paid to a family member who is given priority. And sadly, favoritism of a family member can often be perceived by other employees, even when it doesn't actually exist. Think long and hard before venturing down this path.
7. Copying The Competition
Copying the competition is certainly far easier to do than creating something new. However, that does not mean that it is a good thing to do.
8. Tracking Advertising
It is important to track and measure the success or failure of any advertising campaigns. If you do not track your advertising, you will not really know what works and what does not, and you could be throwing good money after bad.
9. Not Having A Plan
It is important that you have goals, and a plan for your business. Use the plan to guide the direction of your business.
10. Failure To Invest
You have to spend money in order to make money. Many entrepreneurs fail to invest in their business, yet expect instant success. Building a business takes time, effort, and both a personal and a financial investment.
11. Inability To Adapt
Many small businesses change over the years. You must be willing to adapt to the changing needs of a business, and to the changing needs of your customers, in order to survive in the the business world.
Launching a business is an exciting and rewarding experience. Just be careful to avoid the above pitfalls on your way to success.

What Do Women Really Want From Men?
To start off with, women want someone who listens. This seems simple enough, until you add in the fact that you need to comprehend, digest and use accordingly as well. Say a girl mentions that she enjoys sushi. Just hearing this statement is not the end of it. To be counted an active listener, surprise her with a dinner at a Japanese restaurant. Women appreciate small details as well as large ones, so try to integrate this into your life. If she mentions being nervous about a presentation at work, ask her about it in the evening. This will win you major points in the listener category.
Remember to be yourself. You might think that a woman prefers someone who is all about her, but realistically, that gets old. Having your own interests and your hobbies makes you much more interesting. Keep in mind that women like being thought of as worthwhile, but too much is too much. If you spend all your time fawning on her, she'll soon start believing that you're a loser who has nothing else going on in his life, and the fact is, she might not be far wrong! When you have a busy life and you make time out of it to spend with your girlfriend or lover, she'll be flattered. Every woman likes to feel that her man is exciting and fascinating, so make sure that you display this. Trust us, women aren't looking for doormats that will serve them hand and foot all day, every day!
One strategy that you might want to employ is breaking it down a little bit. So know that the person you're trying to impress is a woman. Well, that breaks it down to a category that encompasses half the human race. Get more specific than that. Maybe she's a librarian; that usually means that she enjoys books. Does she work at a gym? That must mean that fitness is important to her. When you start gathering facts like this, you're getting closer to finding out what is important to the woman that you are interested in.
As you can see, figuring out what women want can be frustrating. When you're out there trying to attract the eye of the woman of your dreams, remember that you have a lot to offer and that sometimes, what a woman wants most is for you to head over and say hello. In the mean time, Good Luck!

Benefits to Shareware
Why the Success?
Why developers have succeeded using shareware marketing under poor global economic conditions is fairly obvious. Shareware allows consumers to evaluate an application prior to making a purchase decision. There are no risks to the consumer, if the trial version does not satisfy a purchasers needs, they do not spend the money registering. Evaluating the software prior to purchasing also increases consumer satisfaction as they gain a complete understanding of the software they are ordering and there is little room for surprises. Trying the software before buying is no longer a novelty it is a consumer expectation.
Traditionally, because the barrier to entry is fairly low, companies participating in shareware marketing are usually small and willing to provide personalized service uncommon in large companies. Customers often speak directly with developers requesting feature enhancements, thus improving the software for all. Software support forums with users helping other users have become commonplace. These allow developers to focus on future upgrades, while repetitive user issues can be quickly dealt with. Software developers, who market via the shareware method, have revolutionized traditional support models.
Many of the shareware directories provide ratings and user assessments. Often the user reviews provide insight to important feature sets. Allowing consumers an opportunity to assess and compare multiple products prior to making a decision.
Let us not forget the delivery advantage the shareware model has over the traditional retail counterpart. Shareware allows for instant gratification, there is no need to wait for a shipment because consumers can download and use the software immediately.
What does this all mean?
Marketing via the shareware method is far less expensive than traditional advertising, the increased customer demands, personalized service and instant satisfaction all provide an added consumer benefits. With Shareware, software developers, have a great method for consumers to evaluate and purchase their software. Consumers can easily determine if the software is suitable. Ultimately, by allowing the software to sell itself, consumers often obtain top quality software that is priced far less than traditional retail applications.

Google Contest
Search engine optimization experts are having fun with Google. Experts, with DarkBlue.com at the helm, are holding a contest to determine how Google really works. Experts are competing, with the goal of optimizing a webpage for a non-sensical phrase: 'nigritude ultramarine'. On May 7th, the day the terms 'nigritude ultramarine' was announced, typing the phrase into Google generated no search listings. Search engine optimizers hoping to define themselves as industry leaders are all vying for the number one spot. Others see the contest as an opportunity to test theories and experiment without jeopardizing existing traffic. Some webmasters are leery at staking their professional reputation on a contest with an undefined number of participants.
As an added incentive for search engine experts and webmasters to participate and work their magic, DarkBlue.com is giving away an Apple Mini iPod™ and a Sony Flat Screen Monitor to anyone who can take their page to #1 for the phrase 'nigritude ultramarine'. The contest is scheduled to run for two months and will conclude on July 7th, 2004.
Magical Phrase
The phrase generating the frenzy, 'nigritude ultramarine', is likely to bring out the best and the worst in optimization tactics. The black magic optimization techniques that are suspected in having sites banned from Google are likely to be exercised, along with tried and true optimization practices. Immediately after the contest was announced experts snapped up hyphenated domain names and began tweaking their text. Many experts were surprised to see how quickly 'nigritude ultramarine' made its way into the Google's listings, with new listings appearing daily it is clear that the contest is well underway.
The experts will be at the mercy of Google and any new algorithms implemented over the course of the next two months. Experts will have to anticipate and update on a regular basis, to ensure that they are able to obtain and retain a strong listings.
Results
The results of the contest are unlikely to have any lasting effects, as Google will likely implement filters that will prevent search engine experts from reaping the rewards of any tactics that are found to be effective. Regardless the sense of adventure and a method of testing Google are intriguing.

Blog Tips for SEO
1. Host Your Own Blog
In order to prosper from a blog, be sure to host it on your own domain. Hosting the blog on your own server will maximize the links to your website. Link popularity is one of the factors search engines use to rank websites. Resist the urge to use free hosting services, do not give away your link popularity!
2. RSS Feeds
All blogs should have an RSS feed. An RSS feed will allow for your blog posts to be easily syndicated. The syndication will result in links back to your blog from RSS directories or others who display the feed. Blog entries should be available via an RSS feed. Website visitors who subscribe to the feed will receive notification when new blog posts are added. If the title is of interest, they will click through to your website. This gives subscribers an easy way to know when a blog has been updated.
3. Use White Space
Be sure to make your content scannable. Few website visitors actually read blog posts; most web visitors simply scan a blog entry to determine its relevance or point. With that in mind, the blog posts should be displayed in short paragraphs. Overly long posts should be segmented into concise paragraphs or broken into bulleted lists to make scanning easier. Avoid the urge to "clutter" the post.
4. Titles Matter
You only have seconds to grab the attention of scanners browsing your blog. Use keywords and catchy titles to draw readers in. Blog post titles can be bolded for emphasis and white space should be used to buffer the content.
5. Grammar Matters
You will be judged by your knowledge and use of the English language. Search engines will make note of blog entries that lack proper punctuation or capitalization. If a blog post does not respect the rules of grammar and punctuation, it is possible search engines will make the assumption that a bot cobbled together the posts leading to a potential ban.
6. Legibility
As with any web design select fonts carefully, do not use micro or macro-fonts. Colors should be web safe, making it easy to discern and read. The background and background color should not obscure the text.
7. Navigate
Give readers somewhere to go, include links to additional information resources or extended information in the blog post. Including links in the actual blog post will ensure back links should the RSS feed be syndicated.
8. Communicate
If you create a post about someone, let them know, they might surprise you and link back or they might blog about your blog post, essentially creating a virtual dialogue. This is an easy way to build link popularity. Be warned however, simply mentioning a popular blogger on a blog will rarely result in a link back, the content of the blog post must "grab" their interest.
9. Incorporate SEO
Blog posts should be written as you would write a web copy. Posts should be natural and make sense while still incorporating keywords and keyword phrases that relate to the content.
10. Speed Matters
Web pages that are slow to load will frustrate users, be sure to use reliable web hosting. Compress graphics to maximize load time.
Use your blog to help your website attract traffic. Attention to search engine optimization details could mean the difference between popular and unpopular.

Blogging for Dollars
Whether a blogger's focus is to communicate with customers or just to have fun, they have begun looking at ways to earn revenue from their blogs. The most popular ways for bloggers to earn some added cash for their pet projects are:
1. ) Google Adsense in Blogs
Google AdSense allows webmasters to dynamically serve content-relevant advertisements in blogs. If the visitor clicks one of the AdSense ads served to the blog, the website owner is credited for the referral. Webmasters need only to insert a Google-generated java script into the blog or blog template. Google's spider parses the AdServing blog and serves ads that relate to the blog's content. Google uses a combination of keyword matching and context analysis to determine what ads should be served.
2. ) Affiliate Programs (Product Endorsements)
Affiliate Programs work when an affiliate web site receives income for generating sales, leads, or traffic to a merchant website. Generally, bloggers will mention or endorse specific products and if site visitors purchase the product, bloggers will receive a portion of the sale.
3. ) Product Promotion
Businesses use blogs to detail how specific features or product add-ons can increase functionality and save time. Content-rich product promotion will help with search engine placement.
4.) Banner Ads
While less popular than in the past, websites with high traffic levels can still earn decent revenue by selling banner space.
As the Internet evolves bloggers will continue to seek out ways to monetize their opinions and thoughts. Daily journals and online blogs have become more than just a communication means to many.
